Dr. Moorer grew up in South Georgia and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Georgia in 2008. He completed a 1 year rotating internship at Texas A&M University after graduation. He then spent 1 year at the Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center as a surgical intern before obtaining a residency in small animal surgery at Oklahoma State University. He completed the 3 year residency at Oklahoma State University in 2013 and then stayed on as faculty for the following year. During that time he also passed the ACVS certification examination in 2014 to become board-certified in small animal surgery. After leaving OSU, Dr. Moorer spent 3 years in San Antonio in a multi-specialty hospital performing soft tissue, orthopedic, and neurologic surgeries. Dr. Moorer has been in Colorado since 2017 doing mobile surgery along the Front Range.

In his spare time Dr. Moorer enjoys spending time with his wife and son, hiking, camping, Jiu Jitsu, and training for triathlons.

Dr. Jessica Timian

DVM, MS, DIPLOMATE ACVIM (Internal Medicine)

Dr. Jessica Timian obtained her veterinary degree from UC Davis in 2009. After completing a one-year medicine and surgery internship at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital, she moved to Colorado to pursue an internal medicine residency at Colorado State University. She completed her residency and Master's degree in 2013 and obtained board certification in internal medicine that same year.

Dr. Timian is proficient in all scoping procedures, including upper GI endoscopy, rhinoscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, and cystoscopy. She is skilled in performing abdominal ultrasounds as part of an internal medicine work-up. Although she enjoys all aspects of internal medicine, she has a particular interest in GI, endocrine, renal, and geriatric diseases.

Dr. Patsy Mich

DVM, MS, Diplomate ACVSMR (Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation), Diplomate ACVAA (Anesthesia & Analgesia), Diplomate ABVP (Veterinary Practitioners - Canine/Feline), CCRT

Dr. Patrice (Patsy) Mich is a small animal pain management and mobility specialist. Her career focuses on regaining and maintaining functional independence and performance for canine athletes of all ages and abilities. She calls her practice focus “mobility medicine.” In Colorado, almost all dogs are or were once athletes whether amateurs or professionals. Also, most dogs eventually deal with some sort of mobility struggle whether through injury, chronic myofascial issues, degenerative spinal disease, or arthritis in senior years. Her toolbox includes chronic pain management ( medication, weight optimization, supplements, joint injections, epidural injections, manual therapy, acupuncture, and physical rehabilitation) and V-OP (veterinary orthotic and prosthetic devices).

Dr. Mich is a pioneering veterinarian in V-OP designing, fitting, and customizing orthotic and prosthetic devices for more than 15 years. Her motto is “get your dog back in the game.” No matter what that game may be: hiking, flyball, fetch in the park, taking their human for a walk around the block, movement is medicine.

Dr. Molly Benner

DVM, Practice Limited to Oncology

Dr. Molly Benner grew up in the suburbs of Washington, DC and moved to Denver after college. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of North Carolina, and eventually decided on a career in veterinary medicine to the surprise of none of her friends and family. She obtained her veterinary degree from Louisiana State University in 2014. She then completed a rotating internship at the University of Missouri followed by a residency in medical oncology at the University of Illinois. She has been a practicing oncologist in the Denver area since completing residency and passing specialty boards in 2018.

Dr. Benner spends her free time hiking, snowboarding and cleaning up after her Newfoundland, Finn.

BS, RVT, VTS (SAIM), Practice Manager

Tricia began her career as a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2001 after graduating from the Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology. In 2010, she became a Veterinary Technician Specialist in small animal internal medicine. In early 2022, Tricia stepped away from the clinical setting and worked with veterinary practices virtually while traveling the country. She returned to Colorado in 2024, taking on the role of emergency nurse.

Throughout her career, Tricia has worked in various roles, including inventory manager, training specialist, and hospital services manager. She is a strong advocate for veterinary professionals and is serving her final term with the Colorado Association of Certified Veterinary Technicians (CACVT).

At home she cares for three kitties and 2 dogs, a resilient tripod pup Nimbus and his purebred best friend Loki. In her free time Kimmy enjoys going paddle-boarding, camping and fishing with her boyfriend and dogs. She also spends entirely too much time dressing up her animals in matching bows and bandanas.

When she's not at the hospital, you can find her baking, exploring hiking trails with her loyal cattle dog, Ellie, or delighting in one of her favorite pastimes—dressing her animals in adorable costumes (they secretly love it). If you show her pictures of your pets in costumes she will return the favor!
